Distance 44 km (cum. 10,810 km); Ascent 1,571 m (cum. 93,883 m). Today I continued the ascent to Chimborazo, on the slope of the highest mountain in Ecuador which is in fact one of the biggest volcanoes in the world. I was actually quite advanced and potentially could pass to Ambato, but a strong rain forced me to put my tent and hide inside... Another reason was that the peak of Chimborazo was covered by clouds all afternoon. I hope to see it tomorrow morning :)
