This night was very cold. It could be expected at 980 meters altitude, but still the difference between hot days and freezing nights is impressive! Now I descend to a wide valley with some industry, good roads and a lot of civilization. I stopped for lunch in a village called El Blanco. I stepped into a hotel on the road, but the lunch was booked and the owner directed me to her daughter few blocks away. It was a bit weird but somehow I found the house and had a delicious lunch in the company of two fishermen.

Distance 62 km (cum. 3,035 km); Ascent 523 m (cum. 13,571 m). I arrived in Coyhaique, the largest town in the region, with many banks and two well furnished bicycle shops! I will need to stay here two nights and try to solve the issues with my tires... And rest a bit... Today's route was theoretically easy, but under a burning sun - first without wind, but with hundreds of horse flies, then with strong wind in the face, but without flies...
