Resting in Guayaquil

The previous one-week trip was a bit exhausting. I think I had a too long break from cycling... I am enjoying the days of rest and consuming some more tropical fruits! The 'tamarillo' or tree tomato tastes a bit like a mixture of tomato and kiwi. The 'guayaba' has a pink core and sweat musky aroma, serves for producing the most tasty marmalade, but it's tasty as it is. And finally the delicious 'ciruela' looks like a small plum. It's quite acidic and generally does not have much substance around its stone... There is also one 'palta', the avocado fruit, which is much used in all Latin America, but sometimes has different colours and shapes...
