I received an extension for 30 days

I recently learned that tourists receive standard admission to Bolivia for 30 days (instead of 90 days in most countries). When I looked in my passport it was not very legible, but indeed written '30'... I was lucky to have this discussion as the 30th day of my stay was just today! When I went to immigration office, I received an extension for 30 days without problem. Apart from this I was doing my laundry, resting and learning to prepare Argentinian 'maté' from real Argentinians! When they tasted my 'maté' I could see in their faces that I did everything wrong, though they were pretty diplomatic in their opinions :)
