Distance 96 km (cum. 8,679 km); Ascent 239 m (cum. 64,649 m). Full of energy after the long "screw crisis' successfully resolved in Juliaca, I came back to the road! The first part of the road to Cusco was quite flat, as was the entire road since Copacabana! This is because I am still cycling in the 'altiplano', at the altitude between 3,800 and 4,000 m... I am actually not feeling any more symptoms related to being at this altitude! I only feel weird with these differences between extremely high day temperatures and freezing nights!
