First day of the Titikaka boat trip

Today we visited the famous floating islands and arrived to the island Amantani. The information given by the tourist office was a bit misleading, as they said we will stay with a local family. The place where we stayed, however, was no different from a 'hospedaje', with the exception that the service was very basic (no running water, no electric plugs or wifi). On the other hand, we enjoyed the delicious local food, some glimpse of local culture. In the afternoon, we hiked to the top of the island to enjoy the beautiful sunset.
