It's a big industrial centre, the biggest city of Ecuador. It has an opinion of a dangerous place. However I don't feel in danger, except the robberies I mentioned previously, which however occurred without violence... This week there was a book exhibition and festival of Latin American cinema. I saw few nice movies, helping me understand some of the social problems and history of this fascinating continent.
