Arrived to Copiapó!

Distance 75 km (cum. 5,382 km); Ascent 687 m (cum. 38,421 m). Arrived to Copiapó! Several Chileans expressed negative opinions about this town, saying that it's ugly and inhospitable. Therefore, I was expecting the worse... Surprisingly, it showed to be a lively and sunny town beautifully situated by the mountains, and plenty of good looking girls on the streets :) We found a very simple and cheap 'residencial' close to the city centre and went to a good restaurant to compensate for the incoming days which we will spend on the mountain crossing to Argentina...
