Distance 94 km (cum. 6,835 km); Ascent 742 m (cum. 50,743 m). Arrived in San Salvador de Jujuy, probably the last big town in some time. The road lead through beautiful valleys with rain forest drowned in fog... In the morning I found the dog guarding my door and not leaving me for a moment. He followed me on the road for about 15 km, I lost track of him at some point. He could be simply tired or maybe was attacked by some dogs. I'm happy that I did not see him die under a car... On the other hand I cannot stop thinking if he made it back to Salta or found some safe place elsewhere...
