Sources of information and knowledge on childhood immunisations among Polish parents

This paper summarizes sources of information and knowledge on childhood immunization among Polish parents of children under 2 years of age. This cross-sectional survey was funded by DG SANCO through an international project VACSATC. Thanks to this collaborative project, we agreed on a common methodology and interview questions among experts from several European countries. This allowed a certain compatibility of surveys from different countries. We used the British questionnaire as a example and "gold standard". The NHS in UK was systematically monitoring parents attitudes and concerns about immunization to capture any incoming problems early.
