European public health policies for managing contacts of invasive meningococcal disease cases better harmonised in 2013 than in 2007

A survey of EU countries on national guidelines on Public Health management of invasive meningococcal disease (IMD) cases. The investigation was carried out by an EPIET fellow based in France on behalf of an international group of experts working on IMD evidence-based guidelines. This survey of national guidelines was repeated 10 years after the previous one and found some improved guidelines that are more adapted to the current evidence.
