Today I went to a day trip by bus to Valparaiso, an extremely popular tourist destination. It's really worth to come here, to visit the steep hills covered a bit chaotically by houses, graffiti, restaurants and art galleries... The town itself is the first in Latin America which reminds me a bit the busy, overwhelming cities in Asia and Africa, at least the few I have seen... Probably it's because it's a big port, attracting all sorts of people looking for their place on earth. There are a lot of partly or entirely devastated buildings, beggars, street vendors, dirt and smells...
