In the afternoon, I went for a short off-road trip to a neighbouring area with extravagant rock formations, from which the region is known. During the following 4 days I will take a 4-day tour of the spectacular region of Uyuni in a 4x4 car. I will visit the famous color lakes, geysers and salt deserts! I will leave my bicycle and all the bags in the tourist office and they will be shipped by train to Uyuni on the day of our arrival. I could not do it on the bicycle due to extremely poor roads, huge distances and remoteness. Or at least it would be very, very hard! Because of this, I will be out of network for these 4 days and will return to cycling on Sunday from Uyuni :)
