Very useful and influencial analysis of rotavirus burden before the introduction of universal rotavirus vaccinations. In this analysis, we applied what we learned from a European project of burden of disease assessment, led by Arie Havelaar from the Netherlands. In this estimation, we used robust estimates from two observational studies and comprehensive data from two registries.
