Poster (in English) presented at the Meeting of European Monitoring Group on Meningococci (EMGM 2005)

A simple summary of invasive meningococcal disease (IMD) surveillance in Poland since its initiation in 1970. We participated in the EMGM scientific meeting for the first time. When Poland joined the European Union in 2004, EMGM invited one representative of the surveillance institution and one representative of the national reference laboratory.
