Lecture (in English) presented at the European Scientific Conference on Applied Infectious Disease Epidemiology (ESCAIDE 2010)

The first EPIET fellow based in Poland Hana Orlikova successfully graduated in November 2010, and her oral presentation was a really nice reflection of how much we learned together during her 2-years fellowship. She presented our study of 146 hospital units, which screened undiagnosed neuroinfections for tick-borne encephalitis (TBE). Some more elaborated results of this study were later published in the journal Parasites and Vectors.
